For the February 2018?DC ANS dinner meeting, Dr. Timothy Koeth, Associate Research Professor and Director of the University of Maryland Nuclear Reactor and Radiation Facilities, will be speaking on:<\/p>\n

Dr. Timothy Koeth is presently an Associate Research Professor and Director of the University of Maryland Nuclear Reactor and Radiation Facilities.??Dr. Koeth earned a PhD in Physics from Rutgers University in 2009 for a particle accelerator experiment performed at Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory in Illinois.? He then moved to the University of Maryland to perform research on intense charged particle beams at the University of Maryland Electron Ring.? In 2013 Dr. Koeth was appointed Director of the Maryland University Training Reactor (MUTR) and Radiation facilities.? In addition to leading several research teams, Dr. Koeth has begun an undergraduate reactor operator training program and an undergraduate accelerator physics educational program.<\/p>\n
